  1.    Serial++ Asynch Comm Library

  3.    Serial++ is a safe and efficient class library providing
  4.    interrupt driven serial port support to Borland C++ programs.
  5.    It comes ready to link... no TSR's or assembly coding required.
  6.    Classes are as easy to use as console i/o in C, yet give
  7.    complete access to the 8250 UART, if needed. Handles multiple
  8.    ports/instances, and is protected against keyboard interruptions.

  10.    Libraries require use of Borland C++, IBM PC or clone,
  11.    PC or MS DOS 2.11 or better, and at least one serial port,
  12.    using 8250 UART (or clone).

  14.    Serial++ is shareware from Cortlandt Techonologies, an ASP member.
  15.    The unregistered version comes complete with libraries supporting
  16.    small, compact, medium and large model programs, and documentation
  17.    on disk.  Evaluation copies of the entire package, in the form of 
  18.    the self-extracting compressed file, may be copied and distributed 
  19.    freely, however users are not licensed to distribute any software
  20.    built with the unregistered version.

  22.    Registration is $24.95, and brings a printed manual, complete 
  23.    C++ source, license to distribute software built with Serial++,
  24.    1 year tech support via mail or Compuserv, and upgrade notices.
